Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Farm Pillar handles personal information through its website and organization workspaces. Effective September 28, 2026.
1. Information we collect
When you request a demo or quote, we collect your first and last name, email address, organization name, and details you submit. When an account is created, we store your name, email address, role, password hash, and session information. Organization users may enter farm records that include names, contact details, payments, and operational information. Our servers may also process technical information needed to operate and secure the service, such as request logs.
2. How we use information
We use submitted information to respond to inquiries, set up and support organization workspaces, authenticate users, provide farm management features, send service emails, protect accounts, and maintain the reliability of the platform. We do not use customer farm records to create public profiles or publish them on the marketing website.
3. Organization data and roles
Each organization controls its own team access and the records its users enter. Farm Pillar processes that information to provide the service. If you are an organization user seeking access to or correction of farm records, contact your organization owner first. We may assist the organization with a verified request.
4. Cookies and sessions
We use an essential, HTTP-only session cookie to keep signed-in users authenticated. The cookie is limited to the host used for the workspace. We do not require advertising cookies for the current website.
5. Sharing and service providers
Information may be processed by infrastructure providers that host the application, database, backups, and email delivery. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the service and its users. We do not sell personal information.
6. Retention and security
We keep inquiry and account information for as long as needed to respond, operate the service, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Organization record retention may be governed by a separate customer agreement. We use measures such as access controls, password hashing, and tenant-scoped application records, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices and requests
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information where applicable law provides those rights. Some records may need to be retained for legal, accounting, or security reasons. To make a privacy request, use our contact page and identify it as a privacy request.
8. International processing and changes
Data may be processed where our hosting and email providers operate. We will update this policy if our practices materially change and post the revised effective date here. Applicable privacy rights depend on your location and the agreement with your organization.
